Past Productions

Lee has been producing theatre through his production company, 1956 Entertainment, since 2012, staging plays predominantly in Manchester. In 2018 Lee made his London debut when he staged his play ‘Sunrise for the Blind’ at the Kings Head Theatre, before transferring to The Tristan Bates Theatre for a weeks long run in February 2019. Sunrise was followed, less than two months later, by ‘Killing Nana’, which had a week’s run at The Hen and Chickens in Highbury & Islington, April 9th-13th, 2019.

Sunrise for the blind

With a cleverly written plot that introduces a pseudo-whodunnit mystery that persists slowly and builds tantalisingly before culminating in an unexpected twist, this is a show that tells a modern-day story of very modern-day problems in an altogether new and at times shocking way.
